Description
The Herrenteich attracts various waders (Малый зуёк, Большой улит, Щёголь, Фифи, Черныш, Бекас), especially during migration times. These birds are less common regionally. You can often see the Обыкновенный зимородок, Горная трясогузка, Чёрный коршун, Красный коршун and various ducks and geese. From time to time Чёрный аист, Перепелятник, Тетеревятник are flying over. Now and then, Скопа, Болотный лунь, and Чеглок can also be seen.
The area can be seen from two sides and the footbridges can be walked on. One side of the lake is overgrown with trees. Another is covered with reeds.

The area is best explored on foot and free parking is available directly in front of the lake at the inn. The footbridges are freely accessible and you can enjoy a drink while watching.
