The Hemmelsdorfer See is a lake that has many different water birds, depending on the time of year. Breeding birds include Лебедь-шипун, Серая утка, Лысуха and Чомга. Other birds that are observerd regularly are Обыкновенный зимородок, Орлан-белохвост, Болотный лунь, Тростниковая камышевка, Дроздовидная камышевка, Варакушка and Усатая синица. During migration you can observe birds like Малая чайка, Скопа, Чёрная крачка and Красноголовый нырок.
Coolest one I've seen were Луток in winter and I heard Иволга in the trees in summer. The boardwalk goes out into the lake and along the reeds. Also great spot for landscape photography.

Otherwise there is a free, public parking area available a little further down the road, which I marked as the trail head. Click on a P in the map for directions.
