Description
Grube Cox has mixed forest with lakes and ponds. Серая утка, Красноголовый нырок and Большой баклан spend the winter on the lakes. Деряба can be seen in the poplars on the edges of the lake. In the forest, with a bit of luck, there are Малый пёстрый дятел , Средний пёстрый дятел, Обыкновенный дубонос and Снегирь.
In winter Белобровик and Юрок can also be seen. At night you can see Вальдшнеп, hear Серая неясыть call and very occasionally Филин. During migration I saw Скопа hunt, but it is rare to observe them here. From a herpetological point of view, it is also worth a visit, as you can observe sand lizards, grass snakes and common midwife toad here.
