Friedhof Hoppenlau is the oldest burial ground in Stuttgart created during the plague in 1626. There are interesting old graves amongst mature trees and bushes - a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Several bird species unusual for the city center can be found here: Большой пёстрый дятел, Зелёный дятел, Обыкновенный дубонос, Черноголовый щегол, Короткопалая пищуха, Желтоголовый королёк. In summer time Чёрный стриж and Белобрюхий стриж are plentiful in the sky. You will also encounter many red squirrels.

Friedhof Hoppenlau is located in the city center of Stuttgart. It is easily accessible by foot and public transport (closest being U4 Rosenberg-/Seidenstraße and U1, U9, U11 Berliner Platz).
