The typical species of a city can be seen at the Decksteiner Weiher in summer. On the lake Канадская казарка, Нильский гусь, Чомга and Кряква can be seen. Around the lake you can observe Зелёный дятел, Черноголовый щегол, Средний пёстрый дятел and much more. In winter, however, more rare duck species such as Хохлатая чернеть, Красноголовый нырок, Серая утка and with a bit of luck also Белоглазый нырок can be found.
