Description
In a traditional countryside of pastures filled with flowers and woodland, around 900 m high, a wide variety of passerines can be seen relatively easily. Обыкновенный жулан , Лесной жаворонок , Черноголовый чекан are everywhere, Обыкновенная горихвостка and Коноплянка are around the villages, and Каменка on stone walls. Some Луговой чекан can still be found in marshy grassland, and raptors are frequent ( Красный коршун , Луговой лунь , Змееяд)
But the main species here are Серый сорокопут which tend to be rare nowadays, and Каменный воробей who are nesting in few numbers.

From Saint Bonnet-le-Chateau go to Usson-en-Forez, cross the village direction Craponne-sur-Arzon, and look for the signpost "Jouanzeq". from here there is no very convenient way to park but a car can be parked along the road.
