Description
Pointe de Grave is one of the best places in western France to watch migrating birds during spring. Loads of birds are spotted when northeasterlies/easterlies blow: Береговушка, Деревенская ласточка, Клуша, Обыкновенная горлица, Луговой конёк, Зяблик, Коноплянка, Черноголовый щегол amongst the most abundant.

Access
As migration spot it's best to come very early in the morning and sit on the dune, facing South. By train: from Bordeaux to Pointe de Grave station, By car: there is a free car park right at the tip where the road stops.
