Le Port is a picnic spot right on the Douve. You can look at the river which has little water at low tide. There are also reeds and ponds.

Description

Le Port is a beautiful area with many interesting birds. At low tide the mudflats along the Douve attract for example Чернозобик , Болотный лунь , Колпица , Малая белая цапля , Обыкновенный зимородок , Морской зуёк and Галстучник. At the edge of the river you can walk along a bit and discover a lot of birds in the reeds.

Access

Le Port is located 6 km northeast of the town of Carentan. You can park close to the picnic spot. Press P on the map for directions. The picnic area has a bench and table.
