Description

Le Grand Colombier is very interesting during migration times for waterbirds that make a stopover. Numerous species of waders have been found here. Herons and egrets are common ( Каравайка has already be seen), Пеганка regularly bred, as does a pair of Варакушка. Passerines and raptors can be found along the ponds.

Access

Parking is quite a probleme here. You can do it either along the small road going north along the ponds, or before the main roundabout. Try to find the best viewpoints along the roads, as the views regularly change according to the vegetation.
