During bird migration in autumn Col de Cou is a very good site to observe migratory birds.
Col de Cou (also called Col de Coux) is a high mountain pass of 1,921 m in the Alps, located on the border between Switzerland and France. It connects Champéry in the Swiss canton of Valais to Morzine in the French department of Haute-Savoie. You have a beautiful view over the Alps. The only way you can reach Col de Cou is by hiking trail. Especially during autumn migration many birds of prey can be observed. For example Обыкновенный осоед, Болотный лунь, Перепелятник, Красный коршун, Чёрный коршун, Беркут, Бородач and Скопа.
