Description
Gålören is a shallow bay that is favored by waders. It is an important resting area for waterfowl, waders and gulls during spring and autumn migration. In autumn, the reed beds in the area also provide shelter for migrating songbirds. A two-storey birdwatching tower gives good views over the area. There is a path in the coastal forest north of the harbour, along which you can also see a lot of birds in the spring and summer. You can park next to the little harbour where owners of the boats and the users of the bird tower can park. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking. From the parking it is a 250 meter walk to the observation tower.
