Vaibla Ringing Station is the only inland bird station in Estonia and is run entirely by volunteers.

Description

Vaibla Ringing Station wants to share knowledge and educate people in biology. Visitors are welcome. Main ringing season in July and August, so this is the best time for a visit. So far 114 different bird species have been ringed in Vaibla Ringing Station. Top 5 of ringed birds are Камышевка-барсучок, Деревенская ласточка, Пеночка-весничка, Тростниковая камышевка and Болотная камышевка. But also special birds like Обыкновенный козодой, Длиннохвостая неясыть, Коростель, Воробьиный сычик and Желтоголовая трясогузка have been ringed.
