Wetland with many waders and migratory birds. Many birds can be seen here from an outlook tower including Орлан-белохвост.
The nature reserve Skjern Enge is a natural area of 2200 hectares consisting mainly of meadows, wetlands an lakes. It;s located in Denmark's only delta. Almost 20 years it took to complete Northern Europe's largest nature restoration project, and the result is unparalleled. Among the birds you can see here are Орлан-белохвост, Колпица, Серая цапля, Большая белая цапля, Чибис, Лебедь-шипун, Лебедь-кликун, Гоголь, Свиязь, Кряква, Пустельга обыкновенная, Канюк, Тетеревятник, Серый гусь, Широконоска, Хохлатая чернеть, Красноголовый нырок and Чирок-свистунок.
You can visit the (unmanned) nature center Skjern Enge on Gamle Botoftevej. The way to this nature center is signposted in the town of Vostrup. You can explore the area by car and bicycle or on foot. The area has outlook towers where you can view many bird species in this area. On the map you see a 10 km circular walk that passes the nature center and one bird tower. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking near the central outlook tower.
