Headland on the island of Bornholm where a sandstone underwater reef attracts a rich diversity of sealife and birds.
Salthammer Odde is a great shelf sandstone that juts out from Snogbæk and continues under the sea, forming an underwater reef that attracts a rich diversity of sealife and birds. It is an important resting location for waders and ducks on their migration from the breeding grounds by the Arctic Ocean to winter residences south of Bornholm.
Salthammer Odde is located on the southeastern tip of the island of Bornholm. There is a parking lot nearby. Click on the P on the map for directions to the parking lot.
