This area 10kms west of Paphos can be great for raptors, warblers and wheatear's, especially during spring migration.
Beautiful mountainous area between the villages of Agia Varvara westward to the village of Anarita. Great for raptors, warblers and wheatear's, especially during spring migration. Note that out of migration season it may not hold much birds at all. Among the birds you can encounter are Кипрская славка, Восточноорфейская славка, Рыжегрудая славка, Средиземноморская славка, Славка Рюппеля, Просянка, Хохлатая кукушка, Авдотка, Ястребиный орёл, Курганник, Домовый сыч, Сизоворонка, Черношейная каменка, Испанская каменка, Кипрская каменка, Каменка-плясунья, Каменка and Степная пустельга.
The area is located 10 km west of Paphos. Most tracks in the area driveable with care.
