Description
Very good mosaic of different habitats, providing suitable conditions for big variety of birds of different groups. Traditional and nature friendly agriculture practices allowed presence of birds as Сизоворонка, Удод, Чернолобый сорокопут, Домовый сыч and other. The cliffs on the slopes provide nesting sites to the Малый скальный поползень, Чёрный аист, Ворон and other. On the stony and bushy slopes Кеклик, Испанская каменка, Средиземноморская пересмешка, Рыжегрудая славка, Средиземноморская славка and Восточноорфейская славка can be seen. Европейский тювик keeps to the tree belts along the river, where Чеглок can be observed, too. Белый аист nests in the little hamlets in the area are nesting sites of the Черногрудый воробей.

Drive North from the village of Gorna Kula on the road 50909 and along the Krumovitsa River and explore the different parts of the valley till the village of Dolna Kula, where are the cliffs with most of the birds to be seen.
