Description
There are two migration counting stations next to the town of Wenduine: the Spioenkop close to the sea and an observation platform inside the dunes. From the Spioenkop you have a good view of the sea. It is therefore the perfect place to follow the autumn migration over the sea. You can see species such as Глупыш, Северная олуша, Моевка, shearwaters, sea ducks, skuas, terns, razorbills, divers and with a bit of luck Вилохвостая чайка or even Прямохвостая качурка.
The observation platform is located in the middle of the dunes and is therefore a good place to follow the spring and autumn migration. You can see birds such as Пестроносая крачка,Речная крачка and even the Рыжая цапля. With some luck the Луговой лунь. In the dunes you can also see Южный соловей, Серая славка, Пустельга обыкновенная and Пеночка-весничка. In winter, with a bit of luck, you can see the Пуночка here.

Nederlands: Aan de Noordzeekust bij Wenduine zijn er twee trektelposten: de Spioenkop vlak aan zee en een observatieplatform in de duinen. Vanaf de Spioenkop heb je goed zicht op zee. Het is daarom de perfecte plek om de najaarstrek over zee te volgen. Je ziet er soorten als Глупыш, Северная олуша, Моевка, pijlstormvogels, zee-eenden, jagers, sterns, alken, duikers en met een beetje geluk Вилохвостая чайка of zelfs Прямохвостая качурка.
Het observatieplatform ligt midden in de duinen en is daardoor een goede plek om de voor- en najaarstrek te volgen. Je kunt vogels zien als Пестроносая крачка, Речная крачка en zelfs Рыжая цапля. Met wat geluk ook de Луговой лунь. In de duinen kun je verderЮжный соловей, Серая славка, Пустельга обыкновенная en Пеночка-весничка zien. In de winter kun je hier met een beetje geluk Пуночка aantreffen.

Trektelposten Wenduine are located in the town of Wenduine. You can park your car in Wenduine or at the observation platform. The area is accessible via the N34 or the N317. Press P in the map for directions to a parking.
