Hoofsweer - Kooldries is a varied area with wet and dry forests, heathland, larger and smaller clay pits. There is a bird watching blind at the largest pond with a chance of Свиязь, Лысуха, Серая утка and Хохлатая чернеть in winter. There is a chance of Обыкновенный зимородок, Кряква, Лебедь-шипун around the ponds and various species of woodpeckers in the forest all year round.

Hoofsweer - Kooldries is located northeast of Antwerp near the towns of Brecht and Sint-Lenaars. Parking is available along the Dessel Schoten canal (Boudewijnstraat-Vaartweg), near the Cuveee Hoeve. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The circular walk shown on the map is approximately 5 km.
