Description

This walk from Buchholz leads through impressive conifers and low deciduous trees that provide a varied habitat for birds on both sides of the Frankenbach stream. Among the birds you can observe are Ворон, Клёст-еловик, Снегирь, Черноголовая гаичка, Обыкновенный дубонос, Обыкновенный поползень, Желна, Красный коршун, Чёрный аист and Обыкновенная пищуха.

There is a parking lot just outside the hamlet of Buchholz. Click on the P in the map for directions. The area can be visited on foot or by bicycle. The circular route indicated on the map is about 6,5 km.
