Description
The 12 hectares of the area consist of four former fish ponds in the Molenbeek valley. The ponds have been managed in a nature-friendly way for ten years. They are a good place to make the first spring observations of Малая поганка , Чомга , Обыкновенный зимородок , Тростниковая камышевка , Большой баклан . During the winter half-year, in addition to modest numbers of Хохлатая чернеть, Красноголовый нырок, Чирок-свистунок are present. Other species are seen to a lesser extent Серая утка, Широконоска, Чирок-трескунок , Волчок.
In recent years many rareties were seen during migration, like Черношейная поганка, Большая выпь, Обыкновенный ремез ,Жёлтая цапля.
