Description
The Pitztal valley is criss-crossed by a small river where you can make wonderful observations of Оляпка, Горная трясогузка, Скальная ласточка and Перевозчик. All year round you can see species around the valley like Бородач flying over the valley and Кедровка, Седой дятел, Беркут and Желна. On top the Pitztaler Glacier you can find species like Альпийская завирушка, Снежный воробей, Альпийская галка and Тундряная куропатка.

Access
The Pitztal is located 70 km southwest of Innsbruck. You can explore the vally by car and the slopes of the forest on foot. In the towns you can park and then watch birds. From the town of Mittelberg you can take the train which goes through the mountain on top of the Pitztal Glacier. From there you can explore the area on foot. Or you can take the lift up to a restaurant.
