Description

The Patscherkofel is a is a mountain and ski area and nice for hiking in summer. The mountain in the south of Innsbruck has a striking round top and a radio mast on top. The peak rises to 2,246 m. It is a subalpine/alpine environment with corresponding species.

Access

Patscherkofel is a mountain and ski area 7 km south of Innsbruck. This place can very easily be reached with the cable car (Patscherkofelbahn, see the link below) which starts near Igls. The car can be left on the big parking lot. Click on the p in the map for directions. Several hiking trails start from the mountain station.
