Description
The Lezhë Lagoon is located within the Drin river delta and facing the Adriatic Sea in northern Albania. South of the lagoon is the Kune Vain Tale nature reserve (also described on Birdingplaces, see separate entry). The Lezhë Lagoon is just outside the city and you can reach it easily on foot. The lagoon is accessible at several places. Among the birds you can encounter are Кудрявый пеликан, Жёлтая цапля, Белоглазый нырок, Чирок-трескунок, Розовый фламинго, Ходулочник, Малый баклан, Большой улит, Золотистая щурка, Хохлатый жаворонок, Обыкновенный зимородок and Болотный лунь.
