Description

Warburg Reserve is an educational, child-friendly reserve with pond and two hides. Nesting woodland birds eg Țiclean, Cojoaică de pădure, Presură galbenă, Pițigoi de brădet, Pițigoi sur, Vânturel roșu, Gaie roșie, Mugurar, Pitulice mică and Silvie cu cap negru. 15 orchid species plus herb paris, gentians, bluebell, wood anemone.

Access

Sited midway between Wallingford and Henley, (which is nearest railway station). From the A4130 turn into Bix Village. Turn left into Rectory Lane. Go down steep hill and turn left at bottom, signposted Bix Bottom. Continue on lane (some potholes so drive carefully) for about 1 mile until reaching the car park on the right. Nearest bus stop is in Bix or Nettlebed.
