Description
Birds that top the list in Thursden Valley are Ieruncă scoțiană, Corb and the laughing Ghionoaie verde. One minute your on open barren moorland the next your in the woods. Among the other birds you can encounter are Scoicar, Strigă, Vânturel roșu, Ciocârlie, Fâsă de luncă, Ferestraș mare, Mărăcinar negru, Cinteză, Culic mare, Ciuf de câmp and Cucuvea.

Access
Thursden Valley is located northeast of Burnley. You can park near the Coldwell reservoirs. Click on the P in the map for directions, Or you can make the journey big and come from either Widdop or Hurstwood. Best to explore the area by foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 1,8 mile (3 km).
