Description

From the hides (one is two-storey) at Stanwick Lakes one can see Chiră de baltă, Strigă, Stârc de cireadă, Egretă mică, winter wildfowl such as Rață pestriță, Rață lingurar, Rață fluierătoare, Rață mică, Rață sulițar and Rață cu cap castaniu. The woods and scrubland have Mărăcinar negru, warblers, Sturzul viilor, Cocoșar, Inăriță and Scatiu.

Access

Stanwick lakes is between Kettering and Bedford. It is 300 yards west of the A45 Stanwick roundabout. Click on the P in the map for directions. Parking charge is £3.80 for all day
