Description

From September to November, and in April/May Painswick hill is good for seeing migrants, especially early morning. Hundreds of Porumbel gulerat, Ploier auriu, Cinteză, Graur, Cocoșar, Sturzul viilor and Gaiță can pass through. Also Cinteză de iarnă, Scatiu, Botgros, Presură galbenă, Șoimul rândunelelor, Șoim călător, Șoim de iarnă, Mierlă gulerată, Gaie roșie, Uliu păsărar and Erete vânăt possible. Access

4 miles south of Gloucester on B4073 Painswick road. M5 junction 12. 66 bus from Cheltenham stops nearby. Be aware of golfers, dont obstruct play or become an accidental target. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 4,5 km.
