Description

Loddon Nature Reserve entails a lake with surrounding trees, familiar to anyone who has visited nearby Dinton Pastures. A path circles the lake and connects with a route to Dinton Pastures along the Loddon river, making the area perfect for birding.

On the lake expect to see Lebădă de vară, Rață moțată, Rață lingurar and Gâscă de vară. In the shallows look out for Rață mandarin and Găinușă de baltă. This is also a good site for seeing woodland birds including Ciocănitoare pestriță mare, Cojoaică de pădure and Gaiță.
