Description

Livermere Lake is a stocked fishing and shooting lake 6 miles north of Bury St Edmunds. The lake is mud-fringed, open and productive for waders, gulls, ducks, etc. Among the birds you can expect are Călifar alb, Rață lingurar, Rață cu cap castaniu, Rață moțată, Corcodel mic, Scoicar, Nagâț, Fluierar cu picioare roșii, Gaie roșie, Ciocârlie, Presură de stuf, Silvie de câmp, Silvie mică, Pescăruș negricios, Pescăruș negru and Potârniche cu picioare roșii.

Livermere Lake is located 6 miles north of Bury St Edmunds. You can park in the village of Great Livermere and explore the area on foot from there.
