Clatworthy Reservoir is on the edge of Exmoor National Park. It opened in 1959 and has grassland interspersed with woodland surrounding it.
The extensive Clatworthy Reservoir with a surface area of 130 acres, has a footpath around all sides and is about 5 miles in length. Some Winters are good for Lebădă mică and other rarer geese.
The reservoir is near Clatworthy, to the North is the B3224 and to the South the B3227, minor roads lead to the site from these roads. The circular trail around the reservoir is about 8 km.
