Description
The reedbeds and adjoining scrub in Barnwell Country Park have Lăcar mic, Lăcar de stuf, Presură de stuf and Stufărică as breeders. Pescăraș albastru are frequent. Woodland has Cojoaică de pădure, Țiclean and Pițigoi sur. Winter wildfowl such as Rață pestriță, Rață mică, Rață sulițar, Rață cu cap castaniu and Rață moțată. Access
Barnwell Country Park is located directly to the south of the village of Oundle. Follow the brown and white signs off the A605 Oundle bypass. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Parking at Barnwell Country Park costs £3.20 for up to 4 hours. By Bus: there is a regular bus service to and from Oundle town centre - the bus stop is approximately a quarter of a mile away from the park. Barnwell Country Park is open all day, every day with free admission.
