Description

The Ausee is a small lake at the western end of the Au Peninsula and located at an altitude of 405 meters above sea level. The Ausee is fed by a canal from Lake Zurich. The artificial lake is about 350m long and almost 150m wide. As the lake is surrounded by reeds, this attracts various bird species. There is a circular route around the lake which takes about half an hour at walking pace.
