Description
The Alpnacherried at Alpnachstad is characterized by various pond-like areas that are easy to observe. Some of them have shallow access points, which is interesting for photographers. In addition to a large colony of geese, there are various species of native songbirds.
Breeding birds include Corcodel mic, Corcodel mare, Stârc cenușiu, Gaie neagră, Gâscă de vară, Lăcar de mlaștină, Lăcar mare, Pescărel negru, Cârstel de baltă, Grelușel de stuf, and Presură de stuf. Regular guests during migration period are Buhai de baltă, Vânturel de seară, Prundăraș gulerat mic, Erete de stuf, Becațină comună, Fluierar de zăvoi, Fluierar de munte, and Mărăcinar negru .
During winter, Rață moțată, Rață cu cap castaniu, and Pescăruș sur can be expected.
