Description
Acherbiela is a small nature reserve. The Pupăză is being reintroduced in the area. Spring migration often offers surprises ( Fâsă de câmp, Vânturel de seară, Ciocârlie and Ciocârlie de pădure). In winter sometimes Stăncuță de munte and Mierlă gulerată. Acvilă de munte and Zăgan are also possible when the weather is bad. Beautiful circular route over dry steppe with nature-friendly agriculture. Among the birds you can see in the area are Pupăză, Codroș de pădure, Ciuș, Stăncuță alpină, Stăncuță de munte, Acvilă de munte, Ghionoaie verde, Pitulice de munte, Sturz de vâsc and Pițigoi codat.

Public transport: Bus from Brig train station to Brig Biela. Then walk about 30 minutes in the direction of Termen. Circular walking route from the bus between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, depending on the route.
