in the Skiren and Kvicken area you can hike on marked trails, through old, dense and untouched forest. You can walk around the two small lakes Skiren and Kvicken. Common birds are Pițigoi moțat, Pițigoi de brădet, Aușel cu cap galben, Cojoaică de pădure, Ciocănitoare pestriță mare, Forfecuță and more. From time to time Ciocănitoare de munte and Ciuvică have been discovered here.

The area is best experienced on foot and with binoculars. Parking for car at the point on the map. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The circular walk shown on the map is about 3 km long.
