Description
The final part of Nyköpingsån river flows through the city of Nyköping. Along the river there is a very good walking path on both sides. Mostly functionally adapted. The best time to visit is during autumn, winter and spring. In the part from the harbor basin and upstream to Korsbron, there is no ice for the most part in winter and can Ferestraș mare, Rață moțată and Rață sunătoare be observed. On the river's edge Stârc cenușiu are often standing. At the rapids you can find Pescărel negru and Pescăraș albastru. On the stretch from Folkunga Bridge to Storhusfallet, there is also a point for Pescărel negru, Pescăraș albastru and Codobatură de munte. From Storhusfallet to Stadsbron are mostly Rață mare, Rață moțată and Rață sunătoare. In the spring, the harbor basin is one of the places where the first Pescăruș râzător, Chiră de baltă and other gulls and terns appear.
