Description
Hallands Väderö is an island that since 1958 has been a nature reserve due to its valuable old beech-forest, unusual fungi and large bird populations. Many of the varied rocky and sandy beaches are excellent bathing spots. Some coastal sections and skerries are reserved for seals and nesting seabirds. Gulls and other seabirds are common and many Eider breed on the island. It is also the only place on the west coast of Sweden, where Alcă cu oglindă, Alcă atlantică and Alcă nordică all three breed. But you can also find birds like Pietrar sur, Presură galbenă, Silvie mică, Cânepar, Codroș de pădure, Mărăcinar mare and Privighetoare de zăvoi.
