Beautiful walk from Torrejón el Rubio to the old bridge on the river Arroyo de la Vid. During this hike you can easily see birds such as Coțofană cu aripi albastre, Sfrâncioc cu cap roșu, Ciocârlan spaniol, Ciocârlan, Mărăcinar negru, Potârniche cu picioare roșii and Lăstun de casă. Birds you can hear include Privighetoare roșcată, Presură sură, Sticlete and Stufărică pătată. High above in the sky you can see Vultur sur, Gaie roșie and other birds of prey. Under die old birdge you can find a breeding colony of Lăstun de stâncă. In the river you can see Stârc cenușiu hunting. On the church in the village breeds Barză albă. With a little luck you can encounter a group of Prigorie.

Access
The starting point is the Monfragüe Visitor Center with the Monfragüe Bird Center in the village of Torrejón el Rubio. The trail (3 km one way, 6 km there and back) is partially marked and takes about two hours there and back. It has a steep descent to the river. Parking is available at the Monfragüe Visitor Center or on the road to the Monfragüe national park. Press P on the map for directions.
