Description

Serra Cavallera - Coll de Jou - Bruguera (Ribes de Freser) is a mountain area with bushes and forests. A protected Natural Area (Natura 2000 and Special Conservation Zones ZEC). The Taga, with an altitude of 2,038 meters, is the highest peak. In the highest parts you can see raptors like Hoitar, Șorecar comun, Vânturel roșu, Gaie roșie and Zăgan. And in the areas of pastures and shrubs smaller birds such as Ciocârlie de pădure, Presură galbenă and Fâsă de luncă.

Access

By car to Ribes de Freser and then take the road to the town of Bruguera. Then you have to head towards Coll de Jou, below the Taga peak.
