Description
Punta de Sa Pedrera is an easily accessed area of rocky coastline with excellent views of the area. Mierlă albastră can be seen in the scrub around the top of the cliffs below which Șoim călător breeds. Ciocârlan spaniol can also bee seen in the area.
During migration large numbers of hirundines and swifts can pass overhead and the occasional wader can drop onto the shoreline. It's also worth checking the area for passerine migrants such as Mărăcinar mare and Codroș de pădure. Offshore Pescăruș cu picioare galbene and Pescăruș mediteranean are easily seen and when there is sufficient wind both Ielcovan mediteranean and Ielcovan balearic can be seen in San Antonio bay. Cormoran moțat is also present in good numbers.
