Description
From the picturesque Puerto de Carril, you can see the nearby Isla de Cortegada. Birds like Chiră de mare and seagulls often rest on the wooden stakes from the dock. It is not uncommon to see Pescăruș negru and Pescăruș negricios. The most frequent are Pescăruș cu picioare galbene and Pescăruș râzător. You can also see Pescăruș cu trei degete and Pescăruș cu cap negru. Also Corb de mare. The frequency of Cormoran moțat and Alcidae like Alcă nordică, Alcă atlantică or shearwaters makes the place a special place. The terrestrial birdlife is much less interesting, although it does add species to the watch list.

The best time is sunrise. I have always gone in summer, and even so, warm clothes are recommended for that time. A jacket is enough.
