Description
The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of Prundăraș gulerat mare and Prundăraș gulerat mic, 3 species of Codobatură galbenă, countless Rândunică roșcată, as well as Lăstun de stâncă, Lăstun de casă, Lăstun de mal and Rândunică. Pupăză can be seen in large numbers. Gaie cenușie hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding Sfrâncioc roșiatic, Codroș de munte, Codroș de pădure, Muscar negru, Muscar sur, Sfrâncioc mare iberic, Vrabie negricioasă, 4 species of tits, Ciocănitoare pestriță mare, Ciocănitoare pestriță mică and Ghionoaie verde. The Acvilă de câmp iberică and Vultur sur breed in the vicinity of the campsite. Șerpar, Acvilă mică and Uligan pescar are also frequently seen, as are Gaie neagră and Gaie roșie.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.
