Description
Molino del Comendador is an old mill, one of the many along the Guadiana river. This birding area is a backwater of the Guadiana before joining the river Bullaque, forming islets, with arboreal and marsh vegetation. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Potârniche cu picioare roșii, Corcodel mic, Turturică, Cuc pestriț, Cuc, Cârstel de baltă, Stârc pitic, Stârc roșu, Egretă mică, Stârc de noapte, Stârc pitic, Vultur negru, Acvilă mică, Pupăză, Pescăraș albastru, Prigorie, Capîntortură, Ciocănitoare pestriță mică, Coțofană cu aripi albastre, Lăcar mare, Grelușel de stuf, Privighetoare roșcată, Muscar negru and Presură bărboasă.
