Description
This small wetland located a little to the northeast of the village of Madrigalejo is nice to check out. There was a nice observation tower here, unfortunately, the lookout tower has burned down. Among the birds you can see in this place are Barză albă, Egretă mare, Stârc roșu (April and May), Lăcar de stuf, Mărăcinar negru, Astrild cu cioc roșu, Prigorie, Stufărică pătată, Erete de stuf, Gaie cenușie, Gaie roșie, Sfrâncioc mare iberic, Coțofană cu aripi albastre and Cuc pestriț (January to April). In the winter months the Privighetoare de baltă is a regular visitor.
