Woodpeckers like: Ciocănitoare pestriță mare and Ciocănitoare pestriță mică. Raptors like: Uliu porumbar, Acvilă mică, Gaie roșie, Gaie neagră, Șorecar comun and Vânturel roșu. Herons such as: Stârc cenușiu, Egretă mare, Egretă mică and Stârc pitic. Waterfowl like: Rață mare, Lișiță, Găinușă de baltă, Corcodel mare and Corcodel mic. Waders like: Fluierar de munte, Fluierar de zăvoi and Culic mare.

Access
It can be reached directly from Salamanca or from the town of Villamayor. The route can be done both on foot and by bicycle. You can leave your car parked in the golf course car park and leaving it to the right take the first street that comes out on the right that takes you to the river and the beginning of the route.
