Description
Hraške Mlake are two ponds surrounded with reeds and trees. The wetland is located in an area of small villages in an agricultural landscape of open fields. At Hraške Mlake you can usually see Corcodel mare, Lebădă de vară, Corcodel mic, Rață lingurar, Găinușă de baltă, Lăcar de stuf, sometimes Stârc de noapte and Fluierar de mlaștină. Other birds that can be spotted depending on the season are Cuc, Rață cârâitoare, Rață mică, Ferestraș mare, Egretă mare, Pițigoi sur, Codroș de munte and Silvie cu cap negru.

Access
Hraške Mlake is located 15 km north of Ljubljana. Bus connections are available from Ljubljana to the village of Hraše. From the village you can easily walk to the wetland. When you have your own transport you can park right by the pond. Click on the P in the map for directions.
