Description
Due to the presence of shallow pools, the Vadu area is popular with waders such as Prundăraș de nămol, Piciorong, Fugaci pitic, Fugaci mic, Prundăraș de sărătură and Notatiță. In spring and autumn it is a good place for migratory birds. But also in summer many marsh birds such as Stârc roșu, Țigănuș, Chirighiță cu obraz alb, Stârc de noapte, Erete de stuf, Cresteț cenușiu and Lăcar cafeniu are breeding in this area.

Just south of the village of Vadu are the main pools, you can't miss them. Click on the P in the map for directions.
