Mogoșoaia Palace (Palatul Mogoșoaia) is surrounded by beautiful gardens and located at a big lake. Behind the palace, after the wooden bridge, you can see many birds that prefer marshy areas, but also forest birds. Best time for a visit is spring with many birds nesting. Among the birds you can encounter are Călifar roșu, Ciocănitoare pestriță mare, Egretă mică, Egretă mare, Stârc de noapte, Stârc galben, Chirighiță cu obraz alb, Lișiță and Cormoran mic.
