Description

Balta Carol Lake actually consists of three separate lakes. One lake is popular among fishermen, while the other two are now totally covered with reedbeds. The region of Timis is known to have too little number of lakes, that is why this lake can be interesting for a tourist visiting Timisoara. It has mostly common waterbirds breeding here, as well as a great number of migrants and other waders. Stârc pitic is probably the most interesting bird you can see here.
