A little lake near Saint Paul on the west coast of Reunion Island.
Étang de Saint Paul is a freshwater pond fed by a few saltwater springs. It is home to a wide diversity of natural habitats. Waterbirds like Striated Heron and Eurasian Moorhen but also many common birds of Reunion Island like Red Fody, Common Myna, Madagascar Turtle-Dove, and Village Weaver are here.
It's easy to make walks in the Étang de Saint Paul area. A parking is next to the spot. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 2 km.
